Safari in Kenia
Kenia through the eye of a massai
A Safari is way more than what you imagine.
A safari is not what you think it is, it’s so much more.
¿Pictures?, Yes… a lot of them, but the best things can not be saved in a photo, the
best things are the ones you take with yourself . It’s not that easy to take pictures of
emotions, right?
«You make peace in your life» that’s the way one of our clients defines her
experience with us.
Touring the savannah hand in hand with a Maasai, learning the customs of the
animals, discovering clues to find them, listening to the sounds, feeling nature… is
what we can write, but your feelings only you can describe.
That is why it is very important that your guide and travel companion on safaris
provides you with security, excitement, surprise, adrenaline, peace …
Jambo, I am your guide in Kenya, a Masai
Your guide in Kenia
I am a Maasai. I was born and live in Kenya, on the banks of the Mara River with my Maasai tribe.
I live in the wonderful lands of the Mara, I love wildlife and I know the natural parks of my country very well.
I enjoy sharing safaris with people from other cultures.
I know a lot about nature and I have worked as a safari guide for 15 years.
Do you want to organise your safari together?
You will see the face of nature through the eyes of Jilime Safaris, the eyes of a Maasai.

Balloon safari
We get up early and get on a balloon! We see the sunrise and we observe the animals from the air. An incredible experience.
Walking safari and night safari
Walk through the places where gazelles, zebras, giraffes do it … you can do it accompanied by a Masai.
What happens at night in the savannah, we go out to investigate?

QUESTIONS ABOUT SAFARIS
Is it safe to go on safari?
Yes. It is totally safe. Kenya is a safe country. Our guides will advise you for any movement you want to do.
Is a safari suitable for children?
Yes. Children really enjoy and learn. Our guides have prepared activities specially dedicated to them.
Can you anticipate the animals that I am going to see?
Not exactly. This is not a zoo. Animals move and roam freely. Sometimes it costs more and sometimes less to see them. Rest assured that our Maasai guides know the savannah and the customs of the animals.
Do we annoy animals when we are on safari?
We are very careful to conserve the environment and to protect them and not stress them. We do not do any activity that may disturb you.
Can older people go on safari?
Yes. Keep in mind that safaris are usually done in a vehicle. No long walks will be necessary. Of course, it is a few hours in the car.
Do you have any other questions?
It is normal, a safari is an incredible experience that is not lived every day and that you have to prepare very well to make it unforgettable. Ask us any concern, curiosity or doubt that comes your way. We love to make our work and our environment known.
